Then in March one of my personal favorite...is the start of Striper season in the Feather and Sacramento rivers that will end in June. Lots of action! Clients could expect limits of fish taken daily. May through June, a huge Shad run that is wonderfully great for beginning fishermen. Ultra light tackle and a ton of Shad. "The Steelies" or Steel Head and Trout move into the upper Feather River in September.
